Let me introduce you to Sing Canada Harmony. What is Sing Canada Harmony? Our vison is “A Canada that embraces a cappella harmony.”

Essentially, Sing Canada Harmony is a registered charitable organization that raises funds and provides scholarships to individuals and ensembles for a cappella harmony education. 

The Sing Canada Harmony Scholarship Fund was created to assist Canadians by providing financial assistance for educational and training opportunities in vocal music performance, vocal music leadership, vocal music administration and vocal music composition, arrangement, adjudication and staging. The intent is to provide funding for learning opportunities for Canadian men and women, particularly youth and children to gain expertise and experience in the field of singing a cappella vocal music harmony in quartets and choruses.

What types of opportunities do we typically support?

• Youth a cappella music education programs

• Harmony University and associated colleges

• Leadership Academies (LA)

• International Education Symposiums (IES)

• Chorus / Choir coaching, workshops and retreats

• Other programs, seminars, courses and training in vocal a cappella music. 

Our Board of Directors is comprised of Canadians from the Barbershop Harmony Society, Harmony Incorporated, and Sweet Adelines International, who are committed to supporting vocal music in Canadian schools and communities.  Our local representative is Bill Coulthard: (306) 216-2885, .
